パレスサイドビルディング [建築]
東京国立近代美術館の最寄り駅「竹橋」の真上には、「パレスサイドビルディング。
毎日新聞の本社が入っているビルです。
1966年竣工のこのビル。
洒落た作りなんです。
遠くに見える丸い鏡？かとおもいきや、
丸窓です。
エレベータホールもなんだか未来的です。
独立の上下ボタン。初めて見ました。
館内には、竹橋界隈の紹介も・・・。
建物に戻って、トイレの入り口もこんなにモダン！
外には、飛行機で初の世界一周を成し遂げた「ニッポン号」のモニュメント。
世界一周の記録、今の時間の倍以上かかっています。
エレベータの円柱が特長的な建物です。
入口の傘も洒落ております。
建物の中の花壇も、いつも綺麗に手入れされています。

近代美術館にはよく行きますが、このビルの中はササーッと通過していました。
こんなに素敵なビルだったのですね。
これなら、美術館と同等の価値があるではありませんか！
しかも写真撮れるし。。。
次回は、もっとしっかり見てくることにします♪

車で前を通りかかるだけで、毎日のビルというくらいで特に気にしてなかったですが、中はまる窓とか、独立のボタンとか、凝っているんですね。本当におしゃれですね。再発見させていただきました。

あのビル、こんな面白い作りになっていたんですね。昔、何度も行ったことがあるのに、ささっと地下の食堂街へ直行で、何も見ていませんでした ><;

昔も今も ”竹橋”の駅って通過っするばかりで 降りたことって無かったですね。
となりの大手町も 乗り換えで地下通路を 歩いたくらい。。。
地上には こんな街並みがあったんですね！＾＾☆
