コルビジェの遺産？ 東京文化会館

螺旋階段、好きなんです。


鎌倉の「県立近代美術館」を設計した「坂倉準三」氏とともに「ル・コルビジェ」に師事した「前川國男」氏。
その前川氏設計による「東京文化会館」。


1961年完成の東京でも初期の本格的な音楽ホールです。


ここで、音楽を聴いたことはないのだけれど、螺旋階段を眺めに何度も立ち寄っているところ・・・。
何度見ても飽きないのです。


建物も素敵です。




















柱の感じがコルビジェっぽいです。










その東京文化会館の正面には、師匠「コルビジェ」作の国立西洋美術館。
今でも、天国で語り合っているのかもしれませんね。


国立国会図書館、紀伊国屋書店新宿店、埼玉県立博物館なども前川氏の作品です。
近所の世田谷区役所もそうだったなぁ・・・。

東京小金井にある「江戸東京たてもの園」に移築された「前川國男邸」も素敵です。
久しぶりに見たくなりました・・・。
