神代植物公園 バラ園 [薔薇]
5/22、日曜日、調布市にある「神代植物公園」へ。お目当ては、5/29まで開催中の「バラウィーク」。

世界中のバラが満開の「バラ園」、お見事でした。
その日の天気予報では、午後から崩れるということで、開園時間の9：30を目指して出かけましたが、早くも多くの方で大賑わいでした。
午前中は、暑く、夏のような日差し。
新緑もとても綺麗でした。
「神代植物公園」、今年は開園50周年の節目の年を迎えているようです。
写真では残念ながらお届けできませんが、一面に拡がるバラ園は、バラの甘く芳しい香りに満ちていました。
著名人の名前を冠したバラなどもたくさんあって楽しめます。
こちら「レオナルドダビンチ」
「ダイアナ・プリンセス・オブ・ウェールズ」
「クィーン・エリザベス」
金メダル、その名も「ゴールデン・メダリオン」なんてのも。
ピンクのドレス！のように見えました。
バラの花びらの絨毯、これからの時期は楽しめますね。
開ききってないバラの方が好きです。もう少し、早く訪問すればよかったかも・・・。
午後2時くらいに、雲が拡がってきて、風も出て来たので公園を後にしましたが、車で帰路につく最中、嵐のような天気になりました。
車いすの方など大丈夫だっただろうか・・・・。
今週末も、残念ながら雨模様のようですが、雨の中のバラもいいものですね。
雨に降られた近所のバラが綺麗でした。
秋のバラも楽しみです。
広大な植物公園、ここの「温室」も楽しみのひとつ・・・。

吉祥寺に住んでいた頃、神代植物公園行っていました！
凄く懐かしいです、そして、行きたい〜
500円でかなり楽しめますよね☆
当時は今程、バラ好きではありませんでしたが
それでも写真撮りまくってました。
あと、バラのソフトクリーム食べました。
