植田正治写真展-写真とボク- 埼玉県立近代美術館 [ａｒｔ]
埼玉県立近代美術館で開催中の「植田正治写真展-写真とボク-」に。

2010年に没後10年を迎え、全国で開催された巡会展。最終巡会先の郡山の前、埼玉でようやくキャッチアップです。
今回の展覧会、氏の代表作約200点を集めて、生涯の業績を振り返る構成で、とても満足できる内容でした。
戦前の作品からして、とにかくモダンなのです。そして70歳を過ぎてのモード写真やCDジャケット写真への取り組みなど、涸れるという要素が一切感じられないのです。本当にすごい写真家です。日本の写真家で一番好きな方、ですね。モダンの中に優しさを感じる実に魅力的な写真の数々です・・・。
いつか、彼の故郷にある「植田正治写真美術館」に行きたいなと改めて思いを新たにした次第です。
持ってなかった写真集と彼の著作などわんさか購入してしまいました！
