新しく購入した登山靴の慣らしと避暑を兼ねて、水辺の町、長瀞へ。
が、北関東の暑さがこれほどとはと思い知らされました。
都心から2時間ほどかけて、駅に到着！
まずは、足慣らしとして「宝登山」を目指しました。
すぐに真っ白な大鳥居が・・
駅から歩いて10分ほどで、山の麓の「宝登神社」へ到着。めでたいお名前の神社です。
神社の鳥居も真っ白、そして金の装飾。
思いかけず、豪華な本殿！
何でも、この神社1900年もの歴史を誇る由緒正しき神社とのこと。昨年末に1900年記念事業として社殿の改修が行われたようです。
それにしても小さいながら豪華でした。
境内には、天神様や
お稲荷さんも
本殿の勇姿！
