中欧を巡る旅その67 ブダペスト2日目6 聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂2 2010.11.18 [ブダペスト]
聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂。ここには、奥の間に「聖イシュトヴァーン」の右手のミイラが安置されているんです。コインを入れると、周りが暗くなって聖物がライトアップされました。
館内は、かなり暗いです。デジタルカメラでなければ撮影できなかったでしょう。
重厚な装飾と、暗がりの中の聖像が印象的でした。
左右にそびえる鐘楼は、国会議事堂と並んでブダペストで一番高い建造物だそうです。
正面広場の床の装飾もずっと眺めていて飽きないものでした。
王宮へ・・・。残り時間もわずかになってきました。

こうした重厚感漂う建築物はじっくり時間をかけて見学したいですね。
最近じゃガラス張りの近代建築物しか見ていませんので・・(^-^;
未来の人たちが我々現代の建築物を見たときにはたしてどう思うのでしょうね。
