中欧を巡る旅その66 ブダペスト2日目5 聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂1 2010.11.18 [ブダペスト]
聖イシュトヴァーン大聖堂。ここは、ブダペストでも一番行きたかった所です。
初代ハンガリー国王「イシュトヴァーン」の名前を冠する聖堂。1905年完成の聖堂は、重厚で静謐な空間が拡がる素敵な所でした。
聖堂の入口の前の広場の模様も素敵です。
中に一歩足を踏み入れた瞬間から魅了されました。
天窓から差し込む光が聖像を光輝かせ、なんと神々しいことか・・・。
ドームの天井の荘厳さには圧倒されます。
