鎌倉紫陽花紀行 その5 銭洗い弁天

大仏ハイキングを辿って、銭洗い弁天へ。こんなご時勢なので、弁天様にあやかりたいものですね。
「銭洗い弁天」、正式名称は、「宇賀福神社」です。源頼朝が「巳の年、巳の月、巳の時間」に夢に現れた老人のお告げで霊水を発見したとのことです。
創建は、1185年ということで、鎌倉幕府が開かれるちょっと前になりますね。


境内には、鳥居をくぐって、洞窟の中を通って向かいます。


境内には、本宮、奥宮、上之水神社、下之水神社、七福神社の5つの社があります。
「境内３カ所の社に順番に線香とロウソクを灯して回り、奥の院の銭洗水でお金を洗うのが、正統派金洗い術」なのだそう。

今回、本宮にお参りしただけで、お金を洗ってしまったので、効果はないのかも・・・。ちょっと、残念・・・です。
100円でろうそくと線香を購入すると、ザルを貸してもらえます。

そして、霊水の湧く「奥宮」


ザルにお金を入れて、霊水で洗います。よく見ると、1円玉だらけですね・・・。
1万円札を洗っている方もいらっしゃいました・・・。


ザルは、こちらへ返却！


そして、こちらが「七福神社」


「下之水神社」。脇に小さな滝がありました。

境内に咲いていた紫陽花です。


休憩所で、少し休んでいると、雨が降ってきました。しばらく雨が過ぎるのを待っていましたが、どうもやみそうにない感じです。
洞窟を抜けて、銭洗い弁天を後にしました。


銭洗い弁天の入り口辺りは、緑が生い茂っています。


こういう岩を見ると、切通しを思い出します。


雨が本降りになってきたので、ハイキングコースで北鎌倉に抜けるのを諦めて、「鎌倉駅」へ向かいました。

通りすがりにもたくさんの紫陽花が。雨に紫陽花はやはり似合いますね。

旧陸軍？まさか頼朝の時代まで遡ることはないでしょうが・・・

日本のお札は品質が高いので、洗っても大丈夫みたいですよ。洗うといっても、水をかけるだけですから。以前、ポケットのお札を洗濯機にかけてしまって、無事だったことがありました！

訪れたのは金曜日だったので、そんなに混雑ではなかったです。週末はすごい人でかもしれません。長谷寺も週末は、番号順にお参りだそうなので。
