川村記念美術館に行ってきました(canon5DmarkⅡ） [ａｒｔ]
週末に「川村記念美術館」に行ってきました。
ブランクーシの「ミューズⅡ」が観れるとのことで、企画展「マーク・ロスコ 瞑想する絵画」を開催している千葉県佐倉市の川村記念美術館へ行ってきました。
常設展示の充実振りも以前から、評判のよかった美術館ですが、訪問したのは初めてです。
昨年の3月に改装されて、展示面積が1.5倍近く広がったということで、ゆっくり観て廻ることが出来ました。
作品は、レンブラント、ピカソ、ルノワール、モネ、マグリット、シャガール、ポラック、そしてブランクーシなどと多彩です。
個人的には、シャガールの「ダヴィデ王の夢」と藤田嗣治（レオナール・フジタ）の「アンナ・ド・ノアイユの肖像」が良かったです。
もちろん、ブロンズを磨き上げられたブランクーシの「ミューズ」も。
今は、ロスコ展が開催されているので、ご自慢の「ロスコルーム」は閉鎖中。ニューマンルームは「アンナの光」だけのためにあつらえられた贅沢な空間でした。
展示物も良かったですが、都心から車で1時間ほど離れた場所にあり、自然環境が抜群で、そのロケーションもとても良かったです。自然散策路もやわらかい土の上を気持ちよく散歩できます。今は、河津桜と菜の花が咲いていましたが、これからの季節、桜やつつじや蓮や・・・とずっと楽しめそうです。
企画展の「ロスコ展」も広いスペースで気持ちよく鑑賞できました。今回は、全体で30点のシーグラム壁画のうち15点が一同に会するということで、必見です。シーグラム以外のロスコの絵画も良かったです。作品以外にも、ロスコのロンドンのテート館長リードへの書簡が展示されていて、晩年のロスコの様子が垣間見れ、中々おもしろかったです。作家の作品にかける思いとエゴがよくでていると感じました。
