代々木上原のモスク、東京ジャーミィ3

東京ジャーミィは、1938年に建てられた前身の東京回教学院のモスクが老朽化のため壊され、2000年に再建されたもののようです。


建築の際、内装や外装の資材は、大部分トルコから取り寄せ、100人近いトルコの建築家や職人によって仕上げられたのだそう。


設計もトルコのハッレム・ヒリミ・シェナルプ氏。


礼拝堂は2Ｆに当たるのですが、１Ｆには、トルコの美術品の展示などもあるらしい。
次に行く機会があったら、観てみようと思います。


トルコ文化センターも併設されているので、トルコの情報なども得られるかも・・・。
トルコに旅行に行く際は、便利かもしれません。


次のオリンピック、東京なのかイスタンブールなのか、どちらに決まるのでしょうね。








場所は、代々木上原の駅のほど近く。井の頭通りに面して建てられています。

ここは本当に息をのむような美しさですね。本場のトルコのタイル、職人さんの手になったものなんですね。プチ旅行した気分になりました。トルコは遠いけどここにはまず行ってみたいです。

私はスペインのアルハンブラ宮殿を訪れたとき、その美しさにびっくりしました。

東京、いらしてたのですね。
こちらの場所は、小田急線と千代田線の「代々木上原」が最寄駅です。
そして松陰神社は、渋谷から田園都市線で2つめ三軒茶屋で世田谷線に乗り換えて、3つ目の駅「松陰神社前」が最寄駅になります。
モスクは、訪ねる価値ありの場所ですが、松陰神社は、小さな普通の神社です。
僕は吉田松陰も大好きなので、好きな場所ですが、あまり期待し過ぎないようにね。近所なので、ご案内しますよ！
