魅力的な建築物の多いウィーンの中にあっても、フンデルトヴァッサーの作品は、斬新なものでした。

そんなわけで、今日はウィーンのゴミ焼却場の紹介です。
大阪のものとやはり似ていますね。
こちらは、地下鉄の駅前にそびえたっていて、大阪に比べると、格段にアクセスしやすいです。
自然との共生が彼のテーマ、環境汚染への配慮や周辺への電力供給など、エコな仕様も備えられている建物です。
ウィーンでは、彼のデザインによる市営住宅「フンデルトヴァッサーハウス」（1Ｆに彼の作品のＳＨＯＰ）や、

2000年にフンデルトヴァッサーが亡くなった記事が新聞に小さく掲載されていたことを覚えています。学生の頃、知人の画廊の手伝いの話しがあって、訪ねた先で初めて彼の小さな作品を見た様な記憶があります。
強烈な色使いなのに、落ち着いた雰囲気の作品だったように思います。

クリムトとシーレを訪ねる旅で、新たな作家さんとの出会いでした。
彼の美術館の作品の数々、キラキラ、クネクネで素敵でした。そして、なんだか落ち着くんですよ。

市営住宅の1ＦのＳＨＯＰでは、カフェも併設で、飲み物頼むと、市営住宅の中の様子をビデオで見せてくれました。
写真のトイレは、美術館のものです。毎日使うわけではないので、ワクワク感を楽しめる空間、楽しめました。

ウィーンのリンクのちょっと外側にありました。焼却場は、地下鉄の駅前なので行き易いところでした。市営住宅と美術館は、トラムに揺られて・・・のちょっとわかりにくい場所にありました。

最初、まだ平面な絵だけの時は
靉嘔と同じような色彩感覚だと思っていたのですが、
立体の造形でだんだんとそのユニークさがわかってきました。
