鎌倉三十三観音霊場巡り22 三十番札所「明月院」 [鎌倉]
「明月院」、月のお寺ということで、うさぎがたくさん潜んで？います。
何やら覗きこんでるうさぎたち・・・
中には、お二人のお子様のよう・・・
草（食糧？）を運ぶうさぎも！
本堂へ続く階段も、いい感じで風化しています。
「明月院」といえば、満月お窓。
その前には、小さな庭園。
奥にある「開山堂」。
「開山堂」の裏には、「明月院やぐら」。
山に囲まれた鎌倉によくみられる「洞窟墳墓」です。
お地蔵さんの装いが可愛い！
「花想い地蔵」も、いい感じです。
「本堂」の脇の「百日紅」、まだ花をつけていました。
「明月院」は、「聖観音菩薩」様。
あじさいの季節は、ごったがえす人出の「明月院」も紅葉の前に今の時期は、静かな時を過ごせます。
「明月院」から出てくると、猫が手招きしているお店が・・・。
年内の週末だけ開いてるお店だそう。
別の場所で、工房を開いてるそうで、店内には、作品の猫がずらり！
このお店では、素焼きの猫への絵つけもできるよう。
自分で作る場合は、2日かけて工房でとのこと。
店頭で、わらび餅を売ってました。思わず手が・・・・。
「明月院」の後は、お隣「建長寺」。

明月院は紫陽花の時に一度行って人の多さに驚きそれ以来行っていません。

僕も前回は紫陽花の時期でした。雨の中でも、すごい人出に驚きました。今年の紫陽花の時期は、長谷寺に行ったのですが、余りの人の多さに逃げ出しました。逃げ込む先が、あるのも鎌倉のいい所です。
