日本庭園から、ラクウショウの保護区を回って帰路へ・・・。
シダも好きです。
ラクウショウの森の周りに紫陽花が咲いてました。
ドクダミも・・・。
そして「ラクウショウ」
春のニュロニョロは緑の葉に埋まってました。
新宿御苑、巨木巡りも楽しいです。
最後に紅葉にも出会えました。
Canonで紅葉！

お腹が空いたので、食を求めて外へ・・・
ビリケンに遭遇！
桜が終わった時期の新宿御苑も楽しい出会いがたくさんありました。
人が少ないのもよかったです。

ラクウショウの気根・・・不思議な眺めですね。
メタセコイヤと同じ仲間だそうですが、
近所の公園にたくさんあるメタセコイヤには、気根は出ません。

新宿御苑のラクウショウ、樹齢100年を超える大木で、日本でも大変めずらしいのだそうです。ニョロニョロは、酸素を取り込むための気根です。不思議な形状です。

ラクウショウ、漢字では、「落羽松」と書くそうです。松が付いてますが、スギ科に属するそうです。秋になると枝が鳥の羽のように落葉することから名付けられたようです。ヒラヒラ落葉も観てみたいですね。

ヌマスギとも呼ばれているらしいです。
