宮光園から、メルシャンワイン資料館へ、勝沼6 [勝沼]
宮光園は、明治政府の殖産興業政策の一環として、設立された「大日本山梨葡萄酒会社」が解散した1886年（明治19年）に解散した会社の醸造器具などを譲り受け設立されたもの。
当初の社名は「甲斐産商店」、その後ブランド名の「大黒葡萄酒」に社名を変更し、その後、統廃合などで「オーシャン」、「三楽オーシャン」、現在の「メルシャン」に至る。
宮光園の第二醸造所は、真向かいにあるメルシャンの「ワイン資料館」として公開されています。
現在、宮光園で公開しているのは、「母屋」と「庭」だけですが、現在も修復は続いているので、今後、他の施設も公開されるのかもしれませんね。
母屋の１Ｆでは、母屋修復時に発見された当時の映像を見ることもできました。
母屋には、地下蔵もあって、使用用途は不明だとのことでしたが、日常の生活品を貯蔵していたのでしょうね。
母屋の地下蔵、土間の上がり場の板を外して入るのだそう。
母の実家のかつての町屋造り家にも、床下を活用する同じような仕掛けがあって、なんだか懐かしく感じました。
それにしても、伝統的な日本家屋、落ち着ける空間でした。
照明も、各部屋で意匠を変えて、素敵なものでした。

道を挟んだ前にあるかつての「第二醸造所」、「ワイン資料館」にも立ち寄ってみました。こちらは、無料開放されています。
