大エルミタージュ美術館展 at 国立新美術館

金曜日の夜にでもと思っていた「エルミタージュ美術館展」。
木曜日の午後に時間がとれたので、行ってきました。

国立新美術館で開催中の「大エルミタージュ美術館展-世紀の顔・西欧絵画の400年」。
副題にもあるとおり、16世紀から20世紀の400年間に渡る西欧絵画83作家89点の秀作を一堂に会した展覧会。


国立新美術館で同じく開催中の「セザンヌ展」が一人の作家の生涯に渡る作品の変遷を辿っているのに対比して、西欧絵画の変遷を俯瞰的に見渡せる展覧会でした。
16世紀から20世紀にかけて、世紀毎に5つのセクションで構成された展示内容は、変遷をまさに実感できるものでした。
個人的には、17世紀→19世紀→20世紀→18世紀→16世紀が好みの順番でした。
ルーベンス、ヴァン・ダイク、レンブラント、ヴィジェ・ルブラン、ドラクロワ、コロー、ルソー、シスレー、ルノワール、モネ、セザンヌ、マティス、ピカソなどなどの大作家の作品の数々、それぞれの作家や同時代の作家の他の作品を想い出しながら、楽しく鑑賞できました。

エルミタージュ美術館の収蔵作品は、実に300万点にものぼるとのことですが、ほんの一部でも凝縮された充実感を感じられます。

今回は、閉館時間まで少し余裕があったので、地下のミュージアムｓｈｏｐも回ることができました。

マトローショカは、調味料入れ！　ちょうど塩を入れる容器を探していたところです。


それにしても、「セザンヌ展」と同時開催とは、いかにも贅沢な「国立新美術館」なのでした。


「セザンヌ展」は、6/11まで。
「大エルミタージュ美術館展」は、7/16までの開催です。

あまり混雑しなかったようですね！
企画展は並んで、入場して混んで・・・そんなことの繰り返しで最近はいっていません。
午前中より午後のほうがいいのかもしれませんね。

最寄駅に着いた時、結構な（美術館帰りの方で）混雑ぶりで、心配したのですが、中はそれほどでもなかったです。回遊しながらゆっくり鑑賞できました。
