中欧を巡る旅その22 プラハ2日目7 市民会館 2010.11.13 [プラハ]
カフェを出て、「市民会館」の中を探索。
地下にあるサービスカウンターで「中は観れますか？」と聞いたところ、「今日はもう無理（どうやら定員があるよう）、今晩のコンサートもいっぱい」だとのこと。
「明日の夜ならコンサート空いてますよ」とのことでしたが、その時間には、プラハには居らず、今回は断念です。
「市民会館」の建っている場所は、「プラハ城」に移されるまで、「宮殿」のあった場所。お隣の「火薬塔」は、元々、「宮殿」の門として建設されたもののようです。
「市民会館」は、1912年に完成し、1918年のチェコスロバキアの独立宣言がされた場所でもあり、今は、「プラハの春」音楽祭のメイン開場となっています。会館の中の「スメタナ・ホール」は、プラハ最大のコンサートホールです。
ホールを直には見れませんでしたが、館内に写真が飾られていました。一度、音楽を聴いてみたいあホールです。
自由に見回れる場所でもアールヌーボー装飾を堪能できました。

優美ですね・・・。
外観も素敵な建物です。
次に、お隣の黒い建物「火薬塔」に登ってみました。

When i was in school, we lived around the corner from Star Pizza in Montrose. It likely wasn’t pretty as fabulous as I remember. Might have already been the drugs.
