藝大フィルハーモニア「定期演奏会」と夜の上野公園 [公園]
10/22に、東京藝術大学「奏楽堂」で開催された藝大フィルハーモニア「定期演奏会」に行ってきました。
当日の演目は「マーラー交響曲第9番」。完成に至ったマーラー最後の交響曲です。
それにしても、ベートーヴェン、シューベルト、ブルックナーなどの大作曲家がいずれも9番以降の交響曲を書けずに亡くなる「第9番のジンクス」。マーラーもこの「第9番のジンクス」を恐れていたという。そして、そのジンクスの前に倒れてしまう。不思議なものですね・・・。
さて、クラシックのコンサートに行くのは数年ぶりのこと。先日、シャガール展に訪れた時に、このコンサートを知り、2000円というお手頃な価格だったことと、好きなマーラーだったこともあり、チケットを購入していました。果たして、コンサート、値段以上に素晴らしいものでした。特に第3と第4楽章が・・・。
会場の「奏楽堂」も立派なパイプオルガンを装備した本格的なホールでした。これからは、ちょっとチェックしておこうと思いました・・・・。
1100名収容のホールも、ほぼ満員。多くの方がクラシックを楽しまれていることを改めて認識した次第です。

クラシックコンサート、やはりいいものですね。いつか、ウィーンの楽友教会の「黄金のホール」で聴いてみたいものです。
第4楽章を聴きながら、山頂の静かな風景を夢想しておりました。山は寒そうですが、今回は安全第一で臨んできます。

9番のジンクスが怖くて、9番を使えなかったと当日説明がありました。9番を書くときは、本人的には「これは10番」だと思いながら書いたそうです。9番のジンクス、マーラーにとってはすごいプレッシャーだったようですね。

僕も値段からして「学生オケ」だと思っていたのですが、芸大の「プロオケ」でした。
あの演奏にして、この値段は、本当にリーズナブルです。先日、夜中に山に向かっての車の中で、9番ずっと聴いていました・・・。
