美しき挑発「レンピッカ」展

渋谷文化村「ザ・ミュージマム」で開催されているタマラ・ド・レンピッカ（1898-1980）の展覧会に行ってきました。1920年代から30年代にかけて、ヨーロッパを中心に時代を席巻し、「アールデコのアイコン」とも言われたレンピッカ。激動の時代の中で、自らの信念を貫き通した生き様は、作品の目力によく現れているように思います。

レンピッカの作品は、まとまった点数を所蔵・展示している美術館がない上、個人所蔵の作品も多く、世界中に点在しているため、これほどの点数が一堂に集まることは、極めて稀なことのようです。油彩・素描他約90点、関連作品を含め134点の展示です。このうち日本初公開は約30点とのこと。



油彩の色彩の鮮やかさや迫力のある作風に加え、特に肌の決め細やかな描写は、素晴らしいと感じました。また、白色がとても綺麗です。素描にみられる確かな技量に裏づけされた強烈な個性の作品群には、圧倒されます。
「セルフ・プロデュースの女王」とも言われるとおりの魅惑的な写真や映像も展示されています。

展覧会は5/9まで開催されています。
命日にあたる3/18は、緑色の服装を着ていくと、当日券が100円引きになるそうです。

また、1Ｆのギャラリーで開催されているフレッチャー・シブソープ（14日まで）／ロバート・ハインデル（15-23日）もお薦めです。フラメンコやバレエを描いた作品は、うっとりするほど美しいです。
作品には手が出ませんが、ジブソープの画集（15000円程度）を購入しようとしたところ、完売！とのことでした。




シアターコクーンで上演している「上海バンスキング」も観たいなぁ・・・・。チケットもうないのだろうな・・・。
