ベルギーとパリの旅 その16 （凱旋門、ノートルダム寺院、コンシェルジュリー）2007 [ベルギー・パリ]
7/15 旅行5日目Ｎｏ3（ﾊﾟﾘ3日目）
エッフェル塔から、地下鉄+お散歩で凱旋門へ。
エトワール凱旋門です。凱旋門はもともと戦勝記念碑なので、パリには、他にもカルーゼル門、サン・ドニ門、サン・マルタン門などの凱旋門があります。
日本では、パリの凱旋門と言えば、シャンゼリゼ通りの「エトワール凱旋門」ですね。
他にパリ郊外のラ・デファンスに新凱旋門がありますが、これは、戦勝を記して建てられたわけではないので、正式名称は「友愛の大アーチ」だそうです。日本語訳は正確に言うと間違っていることになりますね。(凱旋門ではない）
エトワール凱旋門は、「アウステルリッツの戦い」の勝利を記念して、ナポレオンの命で建設が始まったものですが、1836年の完成時には、ナポレオンはこの世の人ではありませんでした。ナポレオンがこの門をくぐったのは、1840年にパリに改葬された時になります。その時のパリも英雄の帰還に民衆が溢れかえったとのことです。
ちなみに今回宿泊したホテルの側（レピュブリック）にあった
サン・ドニ門（1672年）です
サン・マルタン門（1674年）です
エトワール凱旋門近くのパリの街並みで、チンクエチェントを発見。パリの街にも溶け込んでいます。

また、こんなガソリンスタンドもありました。日本では、まず見かけない形態です。
次にノートルダム寺院、コンシェルジュリーに向かいました。
まずは、ノートルダムのそばのセーヌ川です。
セーヌ川の遊覧船からのパリの眺めも素敵ですね
同じく近くのパリ市庁舎です。
ノートルダムは、「私たちの貴婦人」という意味で、聖母マリア様を指します。世界各地のノートルダムを冠した大聖堂や寺院は、マリア様に捧げたものです。イタリアでは、「サンタ・マリア・○○」にあたりますね。
ナポレオンの戴冠式もここノートルダム寺院（大聖堂）で行われたました。
ノートルダムはさすがにパリで一番の観光地ということもあり、入場には、長蛇の列ができていました。中は、以前見たことがあったので今回はパスして、側にあるコンシェルジュリーへ行きました。
コンシェルジュリーは、かつての最高裁判所だった美しいゴシック様式の建物です。フランス革命時には、牢獄として使用され、4000人を超える囚人が収容され、その約7割が断頭台へ送られたそうです。ロベス・ピエールやマリー・アントワネットもここで生涯を閉じました。マリー・アントワネットの独房や実際使用していた身の回り品などが公開されています。中は、おごそかで神秘的で心静まる空間でした。

建築は本当に美しく、神秘的な空間です。
